roller coaster ride....

Hi Friends,
Hope that everyone is doing good. We are keeping busy. Hannah and Sarah both have sinus infections, and Carissa has mono again....
Daddy and I both are getting colds, so we all sound funny and have much coughing. Hopefully we are all on the mend.
We are otherwise doing good. Baby chick Chirp is doing good, and growing well. Her leg is deformed so she will have a spoiled life, well taken care of, and have all she needs or wants, so fun to raise a baby chicken. Hannah is excited that Chirp is growing so well. Chirp has been trying to fly in her cage, so it will be interesting to see how she does in the open yard. We love to hear her "sing" it is soft and sweet... to us. The dogs love her too, although I am very sure that Polly wants to have her for dinner. Mia on the other hand just sits and watches her anytime we get Chirp out of the cage. It is funny. The camera needs to be downloaded soon, so we will post pictures soon.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.

Doing good

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all doing well. We are having a good week, learning a lot, and enjoying spending time with family.
Hannah has an adversion to meat right now, to begin with she would eat only chicken, now she won't eat meat at all, hopefully that will change in the next few days to a week. I am trying to sneak meat in here and there. She is so smart, she wants to watch me cook everything. I am praying that it is just a faze....
We are getting ready to spend the weekend in the country. I am so thankful, that God blessed us with a friend that has a farm, and that she loves company. We hwlp with food and such when we go, so hopefully it isn't a burden to have us there. We ejoy helping with the chicken's and turkey's and duck's. We are having a bonfire, roasting marchmellows and making samores again, and we are going to maybe have a hay ride, not sure how Hannah will be with her asthma, but we will try.
Today we were out running errands and found a few old trains, they were really neat, and we enjoyed looking at them, one was an old dinner train, and then a coach train, and then two old trains that were just the casing and sides. The girls and I had a buch of fun just seeing them. We did take pictures.
Hope that you all have a blessed weekend.

Hannah update

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all doing well. We are good.
Hannah has lost about 3 lbs in two weeks. Therefore we are going to the dr. again tomorrow. Also baby Anna is getting a cold, so she will go too. We are having a good weekend, and spent quiet time at home with the girls, just hanging out watching movies, and reading. Keeping warm is the biggest thing with Hannah, she loves to cuddle up and snuggle together. Sarah just likes to have a blanket around her and lay on the couch. Usually drawing or reading a book, is what she wants to do....
We hope that you all have a blessed week.

weight loss....

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all having a blessed week so far. We are well.
We do have a few new prayer request. First, our friend Maria, lives in Minasota, she is having surgery tomorrow morning, to remove her foot and part of her leg. She has diabeties. Also they will be putting in a treach tube. Her daughter lives here in Montgomery, and can not travel to be with her. Please be praying for both of them.
Second, Hannah has started to loose weight, not sure why, just that her eating is ok, and she is still drinking the ensure each day. All her pants and skirts have been altered, and I am going to have to realter them, because they are to big still.
Please be praying that this is just a redistrubution of weight, and that she will be back to "normal" soon. She weights 62 lbs currently, and really can't afford to loose much more than a few pounds.
We are keeping busy with school and awana, and children's choir at church. Sarah received two of her jewels last night. I am so proud of her. Also Hannah has earned one jewel, and soon will have number two. They are doing good.
We are going to the country tomorrow, and Hannah and Sarah are both excited about seeing the baby chickens, and the new baby ducks. It will be fun. We will try to take pictures to share.
Hope that you all have a blessed week.

Passing of a friend

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all well, and having a blessed week.
We are good. Please keep the Tanner family in your prayers.
Our friend Mary Ann has stayed by her precious husbands side for a while now, nursing him and helping him with his fight.
Jimmy Tanner passed away this past Sunday morning about 1:00 a.m.
Please be in prayer for the family as they go through the process of burial, and services for him. Tonight 6-8 and tomorrow 10-2 approximately. Time with friends and family, and as others come for the services, that we can be a witness to others and be there for strength for the family throught this time.
We Thank the Lord for His goodness and mercy, and we know Jimmy is no longer in pain. God is good.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.

new bitties

Hi Friends,
Hope that you are all doing well.
Here is a picture of the new bitties. The girls were excited to see them at the farm. Mrs. Jennifer and Mr. Chris are taking good care of them, and they are growing already. I think Mr. Chris likes the early Christmas gifts, all 12 of them. Mr. Chris has even gotten a few more to increase the number to 3 dozen....
Hannah is feeling better this week, and is looking forward to going to the farm and maybe having a bonfire soon. Marshmellows and hot dogs and hot cocoa. yummy...
Hope that you all have a blessed week.

where does the time go?

Hi Friends,
Wow, this week went by so fast. I don't know where the time has gone.
We had a great week, and a great weekend. We were able to visit friends in the country, and learened so much. Hannah and Sarah are the new proud owners of 12 baby chiks. There are 5 Rhode Island Reds, and 3 Americana, and 3 that I can't remember their name. We can't keep live chickens in town, so our friends Jennifer and Chris have them at there place in a small pen. It was actually a present for Mr. Chris for Christmas from the girls and I he just was able to get them early. He was so happy to have new bitties. We enjoyed spending time with friends, and working on the farm. Hannah and Sarah were able to enjoy country life for a few days, and we hope to go again soon. We fed the animals, went hiking, had a huge bonfire, and enjoyed siting on the porch with friends, listening to the country sounds. Which, by the way, are not easy to hear in the city. (O:
Hannah had a full day both days, and slept better than she has in a while.
We loved going, and always feel so full when we get back to town.
We will post pictures soon of both trips.
We hope that you are all enjoying your autumn like we are. The smells, the crisp air, the activities, and the fun with friends and family.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.

So Loved

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all having a blessed week. We are doing well.
Hannah is a little under the weather, but I think she is just tired. We were up late last night watching a movie, "Faith like Potatoes". It was really good. It is based on a true story, and was such an encouragement to Sarah and I. It is really good, and tells about a farmer in South Africa who gives his family, farm, and life to jesus. The trials they go through and how his faith grows stronger. He becomes an evangilist, and wins many to Jesus. There was some language issues, and there was some violence, and an accident towards the end that was a bit graphic, other than that it was good. It is a good movie for family discusion, and most deffinately to be viewed together. THere issaddness, and lose of life. We did enjoy it, and it is one we will be purchasing for our own collection. Great witnessing tool for the unsaved, or a new believer.
We are running errands today, and a friend and her daughter are joining us, the girls are going to have so much fun. We are excited about getting together, and look forward to the christian fellowship.
We hope that you havea blessed week.

Hi

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are having a blessed week so far, even though it has just started. We had a great Lord's day today, we did. We had a special singing at church, it was good, we enjoyed it so much. Hannah had a good time. She loves music. A friend gave Hannah a record, "The sound of music" she loves it, and has listened to it a lot.
We had so much fun on our trip, and learned a lot. Histroy is so much fun. We will post pictures soon.
Hannah is feeling great today, and she and Sarah even played in the rain some tonight. She and Sarah are rearanging their room tonight, they want to do something different with it. We will see how that goes.... I think I am scared of that... hehe

Hello again

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are doing well. We are ok, Hannah is good, just very tired lately. We are letting her rest as much as needed. We are going to Riverside tomorrow to see family, so she is excited about that. We are excited to visit again. The girls are both taking cameras so they can take pictures. They love spending time up there. Also they love history and the house was built in the
1800's before the civil war. They would spend weeks there if they could.
Hope that you all have a blessed week.

Long days

Hi friends,
We hope that you are all doing well. We are keeping busy. We worked at church Thurs., Fri., and Sat. and are so tired. It was fun, and well worth it. We had a huge moving sale, and were really excited that so much was raised. God is good! We were so busy, and the turn out was wonderful. We were able to help other churches and families with the sale. So that in itself was a blessing for the community.
Hannah is feeling good this week, and doing pretty good. Her legs are hurting her some, but not keeping her down, so that is good, and she knows when to rest. That helps, then she can play more when she feels up to it.
Sarah is doing good, she has been working on christmas gifts and games, she loves making her gifts. She and Hannah are so creative, Hannah is making jewlery for her cousins and friends.
We are keeping up with school and even a little ahead, Hannah loves working extra to finish early. Sarah just does each days work that day, and prefers to stat right on target.
They are fun to watch.
We hope that you have a great week.
Much love and prayers,

better

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all having a blessed week. We are, and on track with school, no big problems.
Hannah is feeling btter, no fever, so that is a blessing. She is starting to eat again, so we are glad about that. Sometimes she just doesn't feel up to eating. Hopefully that won't reoccour to soon.
Yesterday we were running errands, and were leaving the house. There is a large puddle anytime it rains, and there were several birds playing in the puddle. It was neat, there were Robins, one Bluejay,a Cardinal, and another bird we weren't sure about. It was fun to watch them play in the water. The girls love nature, so anything like that is so fun. What kinds of birds live near you?
We hope that you are having a blessed week, and enjoying God's blessings.

downward slop?

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are doing well. We are keeping busy. School is going good, Hannah started back playing and practicing piano, and is very excited. She is doing good, and loves to sing and make up her own songs. Sarah is excited about taking art and photography, someone donated an old Cannon AE 1 program camera to our church moving sale, and we got it for a few dollars... They are ready to use them some... They have made some neat art projects, and lots of painting and charcol drawings...
Hannah has been a little under the weather, not wanting to eat much and sleeping a lot. We will be keeping an eye on her, her head has been bothering her some this week too. Migranes occur about every two or three days, so we are always on alert for that.
Otherwise we are just here, having fun, learning new things, and encouraging each other daily. We have gotten lots of rain this past week, and this week is supose to be the same.
We hope that you have a blessed week.

Nice Day

Hi friends,
We hope that you are all having a blessed day, and week. It flys by... We are doing good, Hannah is having a good week, no fever, and felling better, the rain has helped some, it helps clear the air of all the pollen. She has been walking more, and we took over 6000 steps yesterday. For me 2000 steps are about 1 mile, so I was excited about that. Hannah always beats me, and she had close to 8000 steps yesterday. Wed. are busy for us with school, the grocery shopping, the church in the evening, so it is a good day for walking. We have also taken all the added sugar out of our diets, and using only things with natural sugars in them, like fruit, and that has been good. We are also to drinking over a gallon of water a day each, so that is good. No soda's or sweet tea until after the water is gone. And then only one small cup 4oz. after that, then orange juice or grape juice, and then more water. We are seeing a good change for all of us.
Hannah and Sarah have also gotten a few more pictures lately, thank you to all who are helping them with this project. What a blessing to have so many prayer partners. God is good all the time!!!
Hope that you all have a blessed week.
Much love and Prayers,
Lori and girls

no so long a weekend

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all having a blessed weekend. We have been busy, but having nice family time. The girls and I helped a friend yesterday with a school project about the Constitution, and then helped another friend with laundry, then rested, then today we spent time with grandmommy, Lonnies mom, ate lunch with her, spent more time helping friend with project, the rode bikes and walked the dogs around the parking lot of the church that is across the street from us, we went around two times before it began to rain.
Now we are home again, just hanging out. Hannah and I colored a pony picture, that was fun. Sarah is watching a movie, dad is checking mail and paying bills. All the time seems to go by so fast. Hannah and I were up most of the night last night, so it was a long night, but not to bad.
We have gotten many pictures from differnt states and from liscense plates, thank you to everyone who has sent mail for the girls project. They love seeing the post marks on the letters too.
On other things the girls and I am starting to walk every day, and try to see how far we can walk in a weeek. Today we walked 1369 steps from lunch time until dinner time. Hannah needs to be careful what she eats because if the crohn's, so we are changing may things
in our lives.... join us... how far can you walk this week. We are trying for 15,000 steps. Good Luck.
Hope that you each have a blessed week.

Hannah update

Hi friends,
Hope that you are all having a blessed day and week.
We went to children's today, and Hannah is doing good. The crohn's is possitive, but everything else was negative, lukemia, and three other things. We are prasing God that He has kept us close to Him. We are blessed beyond belief, we still pray for healing, and God's timing with everything. Crohn's isn't a death sentence, or life sentence, it is a day by day thing. Thank you for the prayers on our behalf, we apreciate it. God is good reguardless of the outcome.
Have a great week.

just a thought....

Hi Friends,
I hope that you are all having a blessed day.
I came across this thought recently, I am not sure who wrote it, or where I found it, but it is worth sharing, be blessed today.

" The fact that I am a woman does not make me a different kind of Christian, but the fact that I am a Christian does make me a different kind of woman."

Much Love and Prayers,

Hello again

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are having a blessed week. Hannah is feeling good today, no pain, and no fever, thank you Jesus! We are due to go back to Children's Hospital in Birmingham tomorrow morning. We are not worried, we know that God holds us in the palm of His hands. We feel than since they diagnosed her with Crohn's, that it is very unlikely that she has lukemia. Only God knows, and He will be with us tomorrow when we go. We appreciated all the prayers thus far, we know that God is with us.
Here is a verse that has been dear to me this week.
Ps. 46:10 "Be still and know that i am God."
We are being still this week, are you? Sometimes when a trial hits us we panic, when we panic we can not hear the voice of God... I want to hear Him... How about you?
We hope that you each of you have a blessed week.
Much Love and Prayers.

Sunday sermons

Hi Friends,
WE hope that you are having a blessed LORD'S day!
Here is the picture of Hannah's new nebulizer... isn't it precious... She loves it...
We enjoyed fellowshiping with others and learned so much Today, it was just what I needed....
One of the main things was in Job, where Job lost everything in a single moment, yet he worshiped God. He made it through and so will we. We just need to keep Jesus our main focus.
God is good!
What did you learn this week? If you would like to read the notes I took today, go to our blog "I am just a vessel".
Have a blessed week.

Update

Hi Friends,
I would like to start with something that has weighed heavily on my heart this week. I have hurt feelings, and am concerned that it hurts Hannah and Sarah. Last week we were blessed by a few new people, and more prayers, which was a blessing. Then Sat. someone hacked into my yahoo account, and sent a letter to everyone in my address book, that I was in nigeria, and needed money to get home, 3,000. this was a complete lie. I never went to nigeria, and deffinately wouldn't leave my precious girls. Well I tried to let everyone know by new email. unfortunately we have lost those who wont reply to email. I am soory they were inconvienced by this, and hoped they would not hold it against me. Sadly I'll never know, they won't let me know why they left, so I can only think that this is why. It hurts my heart that the devil causes so much confusion, and hurt. Please know, we are a family that never would try to deceive anyone. We have two precious girls, they struggle with not understanding why someone would pray for them then disapear. Like I said before, if you have questions please email me, i will gladly talk to anyone... We covet prayers of other prayer warriors, and I am confident that God is with us through this all. We love to get to know new friends and prayer partners.

On other notes, Hannah is feeling so much better, it is a virus, so not much to do but wait it out. We did go see the pediatrician, and she said Hannah was looking good. I know that "This too shall pass" and we can be confident that God has us in the palm of his hand.
She did get a new nebulizer, and they usually have a cow or a pinguin or a plain black or cream one. Well her heart was set on a pinguin, and so we called a friend to pray, then we prayed all the way there, prayed right before we went into the health care place, and they had 1 left. Isn't God awesome! Hannah was able to see first hand that prayer works. Like so many times before, her heart is full knowing that God does hear even little ones. What an awesome God we serve!
Also Andrew, the boy we have been praying for, has stage 4 inoperable brain mass. Please continue to pray for him and his family. www.bellamella-melanie.blogspot.com is their site, I will try to figure out how to link back to their site.
We hope that you have a blessed holiday weekend and a great Lord's day.

fever again

Hi friends,
We hope that you are having a good week. We are ok, Hannah has fever again, and getting congested, she swears she is not getting sick. Her breathing is worse today, and we just had another breathing treatment. I will be taking her tomorrow to see the dr. Swine flu is here, we haven't been exposed as of yet, but it is getting worse here. Several schools have a lot of kids and teachers out. My friend has it as does her 4 kids. Not fun I hear.
We also have a visit with the immunologist Wed. next week, so hopefully she will be well to go to it.
School is going well, and we have had a feild trip already. The girls are getting pictures for their projects as well and are so excited.
We are expecting rain the next few days, so we will be inside a lot. I am so glad it is almost Fall. Cooler weather at last.
Well I better go, hope that you all have a blessed week.

Hannah Update

Hi Friends,
We are home from Birmingham... Long day. Here is what we know.
Hannah's lung function test was at 82 this afternoon, so they gave her a breathing treatment, then retested her and it was 85. So we are going to do a am and pm treatment and see how she does, and do one in the early afternoon. Also theygot some of the results and she had a possitive IBD (irritable bowel disorder) and possitive crohn's disease. I am not sure that is right, I didn't know they were checking for that, but we will find out more next week, she sees the immunologist on the 9th. Hopefully we will find out more on the lukemia results. I am learning patience... (O:
So we know a little more, and have lots more questions.
We did see a friend as we were leaving, and that was like a hug from God. Also we were able to visit Children's Harbor, which the girls enjoyed so much, we played pool and watched them win at the crane game. It was fun for all of to relax and spend quiet time together before the dr visit.
Thank You for all the prayers, we felt them.

words to think on...

Hi Friends,
I hope that your day is going pleasantly well. We were out and about today, and saw a sign that made me stop and think.
It said ...

"Life is not about how to servive the storm,
but how to dance in the rain."

I need Gods provisions to survive the storm, but I am so glad He is teaching me to Dance in the rain. The girls and I took it literal, this afternoon as it rained, we went outside and danced in the rain... a reminder that He is in control. I am so glad He is and it is not left to me to figure out alone. I don't know how people who don't know God make it.

Several people have asked about Hannah and her issues. I am trying to figure out how to add it to the side bar, until then. I'll put it here. So here it is...

Hannah was born Dec. 29, 1999, she was 6'8 not to small, like Sarah who was 3'15oz. Hannah was a little early, but was good. The drs found a heart murmur quickly, but felt it would heal in time. We went home and waited. We saw a specialist in Birmingham at Childrens hospital and found out that she has pulmonary valve stonosis, too. She had her first heart surgery at 4 months old. She did well, and we weren't really concerned about it. Well the year she turned 5 she started getting sick a lot. Then by K5 she was sick every few weeks. She has fever every few days, then no fever for several days, then fever again. This goes on and on for 4 years. Even now it is every few days fever, then no fever. She has allergies, when a mesquito bites her she bruises and it swells up like a quarter. She has a nebulizer at home and does three treatments a day in the winter, spring and fall, and none in the summer. She has a sleep disorder, at night there is to much brain activity for her body to rest, she sleep walks, talks, and trys to take baths and eat. All while asleep. She has had migranes since she was 2, and has an immune disorder called hypogammagoblunemia -CVID, which is a primary immune disorder. She gets IVIG infusions every 4 weeks. She has psorisis, skin disorder, and the arthritis that goes with it, and she has ezema. And now the drs are 90% sure she has lukemia. They sent her blood work to Cinncinatti Childrens, and the machine was broken, so they resent it, and we should know by Sept. the results of that. So there is never a dull moment in our days.
But through it all we are confident that God has us in the palm of His hands. We are a little scared, but we know that this is just a small bump in the road compared to eternity.

I hope that ths helps, if you have any questions, please ask. I'll be glad to answer what I can.

Thank you for your prayers, we appreciate it very much.
Have a blessed day.
Much Love and Prayers,
Lori and girls

Hi Friends,

Thank you for "following" Hannahs blog. It made her so Happy to know that someone reads her and Sarah's blogs...

Much Love and Prayers,

School Project

Hi Friends,
As you can see Hannah isn't feeling her best. We love each and every one of you, thank you for all the prayers. Phil.1:3-11 says
"I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ: Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and [in] all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God." KJV

Hannah and Sarah are doing a project that will probably take most of the year, and can use the help of you all. There are several ways to help... They are collection pictures and info on each state and Canada and its provinces. They would love to have a picture of each states license plates, as well as any pictures on "Welcome to _________ (state name)ex: "Welcome to Alabama." Any city signs, Welcome to Montgomery, and such. Also any neat info or pictures, like State capital pictures... really anything. They want to make a big notebook to show all they learn.

Also many people pray for us on a daily basis... Hannah wants to make a prayer wall. If you are willing, take a family picture, pets and all, and maybe a sign that says "Praying for Hannah" on it. Please include a note with names (first) and ages if you want, and city and state you are from.

We really appreciat your thoughts and prayers.
Have a blessed day.

Thirsty For Christ

Hi Friends,
What a blessed day we are having. I have been so encouraged today from Tracy over at "Thirsty For Him" She was talking about "Does it matter, it terms of reality" Keeping things done without grumbling and complaing... I tend to get upset that I am consistently picking up after everyone in our home. Then I was nudged by God, He reminded me that I am here for that. Keeping my home and the kids, dinner, laundry, al of it is for Christ. I do everything for the glory of God. He blessed me with this family for a reason. I have been reminded of that several times over the last few weeks. God has truley blessed us. I desire to be all I can for Him. I am just a vessel, I want to be a vessel of honour for Him.

On other fronts, homeschool is going great, Hannah is ok. I feel like a broken record sometimes, she has been feeling a bit under the weather lately, but no fever, and no other issues at this point. She has not had a good appitite, but is drinking boost, daily which helps keep her strength. I am so glad I can get her to drink it. She has not been up to going outside this week at all. We have basically been at home, inside since Sunday afternoon. Hopefully that will change some. I am trying to talk her into looking for ladybugs this afternoon. We will see.
Mia, Hannahs new puppy is doing well. Mia has already learned that if Hannah gets out of bed to wake me up. She is so cute, and loves to sleep right up next to Hannah, then when Hannah moves, Mia snuggles up closer to Hannah. I can sleep a little more easily.
Mia also has let Hannah dress her up some. She is so precious. I am so Thankful to God for bringing the perfect puppy to us.
Mia has trouble with her back legs, and with asthma, just like Hannah. God is so good!

We hope that You have a blessed week.

Blessed Day

Hi Friends,
We hope that you have had a blessed day today, in GOd's house whereever you serve....
I never cease to be humbled by Gods blessings and provisions. What an Awesome God we serve!!!
We have had a great afternoon, Anna is doing good, Hannah feels great and has been helping daddy fix a fence today. Sarah and Anna and I had small naps, and are ready to go again. We strive to be vessels of Honour for Jesus on a daily basis, it has been nice to do that today, God brought a new family into our lives today, the mom wants to homeschool but has not learned how, or what to do to go about it. I was able to talk with her and help her out some. I am thankful God has opened a door for this to be done. I am glad He picked me to help, what a blessing.
We have a busy week, and pray that everyone has a good week ahead. God be with each of you today, and this week.

Fun Filled day....

Hi Friends,
We pray you are having a good week. We are, and ready for a restful weekend with Daddy and the girls. Lonnie and I are going to help a neighbor repair a fence, she needs the security it provides.
It got me to thinking, she lives alone, no family here in town, they live in other states. She is older and she doesn't work, outside the home. Her sons are grown and married, her husband long passed. She has no one near to help her. We are all like that, we have families scatered here and there, sometimes we feel alone, with no one to help. God is there waiting to help us, if we just ask. He is there to provide all our needs, He is always with us. He is our security! Safe in the Palm of His hands.
I am secure in knowing that I am going to heaven one day. Are you secure in that knowledge? If not, I would be glad to tell you more and to show you the way.....

On another note, we were able to meet up with Deb, from "One Single Minute." today, what a blessing to spend time with such an encouraging friend. We visited a few local sites, Rosa Parks Museumn and some fountains that are nearby, and enjoyed spending time with the girls. They had fun in the fountains. I was so encouraged by her. The girls and I enjoyed the time out from school and all the busyness? of the week. Anna did pretty well while we were out, and slept and played and seemed to have a good time. Hannah is my navigator when we are out, and Sarah is my question asker. They saw the same things but took them in differently. Hannah remembers the order of events, whereas Sarah remembers that when she saw some of it, she had new questions about why things happened the way they did. I love that they have different learning styles, it makes teaching them so much fun. Hannah liked the fountain and getting wet the best, Sarah liked the history of it all. She then wanted to know when the museumn opened and who helped build it, and why they built it where the did. She spent time on the computer today learning more. Hannah on the other hand had more fun telling Daddy what she did, and that she was not as hot as we were because she was so soaked.
I think the day was a sucess.... Most of all we all had fun.
What are your plans this weekend? I hope that you enjoy time with friends and family, and take time to have lots of fun.
Have a blessed weekend.
Much Love and prayers,
Lori, Hannah and Sarah

Hi friends, wow, have we missed all of you. We are back on track now, and had a good quiet summer. The girls are well, and ready for homeschool to start, we did start on Monday. They are both off to a great start.
Let me see, where has the time gone.... summer was good for Hannah and she has only a few small issues that will resolve over the next few weeks.
Hannah attended her first slumber party, and did happen to stay awake most of the night... thank you Anna for the build a bear party, and lots of fun. She did come home covered in bug bites, but they are healing nicely..... (O:
Fevers here and there, but nothing to major, and no hospital visits lately.... Thank you Jesus...
Sarah also has been doing well. growing like a weed. (O:
Not much else is new, just keeping busy and waiting on God's timing.
Upcoming appointments are:
Hannah, Aug. 31, Birmingham, we will be seeing a new pulmonary dr, so that will be interesting.
Hannah Sept. 11th, not sure if we will need to keep this, but pretty sure, we should find out the results of all of Hannah's latest test, and if she has lukemia or not. We are fully trusting God on this..... it is all in his devine hands.
We should also find out if we will continue the IVIG treatments.

Update on Hannah

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all having a blessed week. Several are graduationg and going off to school...
We had a check up in Birmingham, Hannah has psorisis, and psoristic arthiritis. It is degenerative from what we understand, and we are in the search for a small childs wheelchair. Just for when she can't go on, use it as little as possible. We don't want her to become dependent on it. We are stopping the infusions and the antibiotics for the summer, and will start them back up in September.
A much needed break. We are doing well otherwise, getting ready for school to start back, we will start in July this year. The girls are glad for a small break.
We are keeping busy with feild trips, and lots of fun and relaxation. Hannah is enjoying this time off. We hope that you all have a blessed week.

Where does the time go?

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are each doing well. It has been crazy here. Hannah has had fever virus for over a week, she was a little dehydrated, but no hospital visit this time, thankfully, also Sarah actually got the fever virus.... Unusual for that to happen. Anyhow, Hannah had an infusion today, it went well, and so far there has been no fever.... which is a big Praise....
We do go th Birmingham on Tuesday next week, hopefully we can find out some answers... as you may remember, Hannah had some extra blood work done and it was sent to Cinncinatti Childrens Hospital, hopefully we will find something out. We have been indoors lately, part due to rain, part due to sicknesses. We are hoping to take the girls fishing this weekend if possible. Other than that we are doing well.
Hannah made me a precious bracelet for mothers day, and Sarah got me a teddy bear treasure chest, Lonnie got me a new canister vacume cleaner for Mothers day. Lots of lovely gifts.
I have a sweet family, and thank God for them daily...
I hope that you all have a blessed week, you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Much love and Prayer's,

long week...

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all doing well. We are ok, warding off viruses as much as possible. Hannah and Sarah are going to the dr. tomorrow, for a check up, both are feeling a bit under the weather, as is Carissa, my neice. So for a while tomorrow we will all four be in a very small room waiting to see the dr. I know it is virus time, Hannah usually keeps some sort of virus most of the time.
It seems much later than Tues. evening. We are getting ready for Mother's day, we are celebrating with friends and family, and a few unsuspecting moms... it will be nice I am sure... the girls have given me my present, one being in my life, such sweet girls I am blessed by God for lending them to me. My sweet pearls.... they also gave me a new study Bible that is purple. I love it!
I hope that you can spend time with your mom, or stand in mom. We try to do something for mom's that have lost their children, or spouse, so that they aren't alone on Mothers day. The LORD has blessed us with mom's, some good, some not so good, but mom's have made us who we are. We honor them this week on a special day....
so to all the mom's out there, we would like to say,
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to you!!!
We hope that you all have a blessed week.

prayers needed...

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all doing well.
This is a something that has beend on my heart lately..... we need to be in constant prayer for our friends, family, and even our emimies. Christian and non christian alike need prayer. The non christian for a realization of their need for a savior, and christians for a closer walk with Christ. As a believer I feel the need to uplift people I know, on a daily basis. I also feel a need to uplift those I may come in contact with on a day to day basis. I want others to see Jesus through me, through my walk, my talk, and my life..... I want to be a witness for anyone God sends into my path. Please pray for me and our family, that we can show others Jesus through us.
On to other things, Hannah has been feeling ok lately. She has even been out riding her bike some with Sarah. What a blessing to mommy. She fell last week and cut her leg open, not to bad, but it did take all the skin off, and looked bad. We are praying that she doesn't get a staff infection, with her health issues, we need the scrape to heal soon. She is going to the pediatrician soon, so we will be keeping an eye on it. We appreciate your prayers on our behalf. What a blessing you are to us.
We hope that you have a blessed week.
Much love and Prayer's,

Hi all

Hi Friends,
Hope that you are all felling well, and having a blessed week.
We are doing good. Keeping busy. Hannah is doing ok, some good days, some bad days. We just take them one at a time. She is a bit pale today. No fever though. So that is good.
I have been reading a really good book, it is called "The Shack."
I see things in a whole different way!! Wow ! If you don't read any other book, other than the Bible, you should read this one! It is life changing... for the better ! God is an awesome God !! He loves you all, as though there were only one... He would have still died on the cross for you. Gods Love and grace are unconditional, and pure, and wholly, totally love. I have a hard time trying to explaine it, but God loves, even you....
Let Him show you!
Hope that you all have a blessed week!

Happy Resurection Day!

Hi Friends,
Happy Resurection Day! We are enjoying a nice day. We attended church musical this morning, and enjoyed it tremendously.

Question to think about... Do you know Jesus? Personally on an intimate level? If not I would like to tell you about Jesus.
He was born a child, lived amoung men, taught, helped, loved everyone. He fulfilled his earthly ministry, the was hung on the cross and died for our sins, all of us, all of our sins, present and past, and especially future sins. He was burried, three days later he rose from the grave. He has done all he said he would do. He loves each of you as if you were the only one on earth. If you were the only person on the earth, Jesus would still have died on the cross for you!. He loves you each that much! John 3:16 says... " For God so Loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life." He gave his only son to die for each of you. I pray that you may know and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have any questions, I would be glad to answer what I can. God Loves you each so much!

After church we enjoyed being outside some, the girls rode their bikes for a little bit. As well as enjoyed sitting in the cool breeze.
Now they are watching "The Sound of Music" Hannah loves this movie, and it came on tv tonight. She was excited! In a bit, the girls will be giving daddy his haircut for the month. They love that, and are getting good with the clippers.
Hannahs legs and hips have been bothering her lately. We have infussion this week on Tues. and the infussion will last longer now. Hannah will need to sit still for about 6 hours now. Long time for her. We are going to be using all the gimmicks we can to get her to sit still.
Thank you all for the prayers, we covet them.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.
Much Love and prayer's,

Great Week

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all having a blessed week. We are keeping busy. Hannah has had a good week, no problems, we were able to go to church yesterday, and it was a blessing to be in God's House. I needed the encouragement from fellow christians. It helped me feel better.
I know they are my God given family, they don't have to be blood relatives to be family, because God has brought them into our lives. It always blesses my heart to be with them.
I am learning so much just waiting on God, it is a challenge, because I want to know now what is next, but God's plans are not my own, and His timming is perfect. I am also learning to cherrish each and every moment I have with the girls. Today we took a walk, just because... It wass cloudy, but we decided to go either way, if we got wet we could always change clothes. We looked for treasures, we found some pretty purple flowers, and then lots of dandelions. Also the girls found several ant beds, and we found a few neat looking rocks. We are going to try to go on a walk each day, a different route and see what we can find. The girls are already watching for birds nests, and feathers. They see the handywork of God everywhere. For that I am greatful, they help remind me to watch God more each day. I love to see their smile as they find a new treasure. What can you do to show your children God?

Hannah said today that, God was in the wind and rain... I told her yes, he was, she said, no mom, He is there, you can smell Him when it starts to rain, the new smell right after everything is washed off, newness of it all. We have always told the girls that God is everywhere, it blesses my heart to see their thoughts come to life, and see and smell what they do.

We are planning an outing this week, Lonnie is off for a few days, so we are going to do some history feild trips, as well as possible quiet family time. We are looking forward to the family time.
Hannah wants to type something..

hi-hannah here now.... hi friend's bye friends .... love to all...

We hope that you all have a blessed week, living in God's mercy and grace. Keep your eyes focused on God and have a great week.
Much Love and prayer's,
Lori and girls

Good Morning

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all having a blessed day. We are having a restful day.
I have been thinking about all that goes on in our lives, and how dependent we are on God for every thing we need. Over the past few days I have noticed many things that have shown Gods mercy and Love to us. I recently read about a little girl who has several health issues like Hannah does. This family has seen so many issues arise with their little girl. Through it all they have such strong faith in God. They are a beacon of hope for others to see. I want to be like that, i want others to see God through me. Even when the times get rough, I want to show others God's love and grace. My prayer is that our family will grow to be like that, and that others we know and meet are like that. If we can show others Jesus through us at all times, more lost souls will come to know and expierence Gods mercy and grace.

Phil. 4:8-9
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.

Phl 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

What are your thoughts? How can you be a beacon for others to see?
We hope that you have a blessed week.

New information

Hi Friends,
Well it has been a busy week here. Hannah's infusion went good, although she did run fever after, and her head has been hurting her since Tues. so we are doing what we can to make her comfortable.
We also went to Birmingham yesterday, and they are incresing her IVIG treatment from 12.5 to 20.0. Hopefully that will elp her some.
Also they did more lab work, and are sending the blood samples to Childrend in Cincinnatti, Ohio.. to the hemotology and oncology department, so maybe they can tell us something else soon. They are retesting her natural killer cells (NK) and then the function of something CTL or something. Now we wait, that is how it goes.... Hannah and I both are getting good at waiting.
We are trusting God. His will for us is worth waitng for.
We have had a few blessings this week. God is good all the time.
We did have a safe trip, to Birmingham and back. I went by myself with the girls, so I was so glad that wee didn't have any trouble.
Also we got really good gas milage, I filled the van up before we left, and by the time we returned home we had used only 1/4 tank of gas. Usually it takes just over half, so that was so nice.

We are taking the girls swimming this weekend, as it stays nice, as they are so excited, they weren't able to go at all last year. They are watching the weather to make sure everything goes according to planned. We are learning to enjoy the simple things whenever we can. Also to make the best of every day, and situation, life is to short. We are trying to enjoy each day to the fullest.

Thank you for all the prayer's, please continue to pray for us. As we seek God's will in our live's, and in our family.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.
Much love and Prayers,
Lori and girls

Update on Hannah

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are each having a blessed week. We are resting, we are all sick still. Hannah has an infussion tomorrow morning, and we go see the immunologist on Wed. this week.
We have been so busy, being sick, and trying to get well. We also had a friends 6 week old one night and a 13 month old one night, and we have taken a few days off school to feel better. The weather here keeps changing from cold to hot, cold to hot, it is crazy weather here. I will be glad when the weather straightens out. I know Hannah and Sarah will too.
We had a special blessing recently, a friend who knows Hannahs infussion days can be hard, sitting still for three hours, and how Hannah doesn't like to be boared, gave her a small wooden dollhouse, with a little furniture and a doll, she loves it. It has stairs and a small garage in it. It is sweet. I think it is a Mellisa and Doug product, so we are on the hunt for more little people to put in it. Hopefully we can do something, if we can't mom will do her best to make some little wooden people to help Hannah out.
We have been so blessed with many friends who pray for us, and many friends, I know we couldn't make it without the prayers and support. Thank you all so much, it means a lot to us.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.
Much Love and Prayer's,
Lori, Hannah, and Sarah

snow....

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all having a good and blessed week. Weare resting as needed, but doing well.
We had snow yesterday... I know that for some of you it is a regular thing, but we haven't seen snow accumilate in a while. The only time the girls have seen snow was about 7 and a half years ago. Hannah was about 18 months old. Sarah was about 4... needless to say there was much excitement from the girls here. We went to church, and when we came home it was so cold and snow was everywhere. After eating lunch we were going to go outside, and most of the snow had melted. The girls were sad that they didn't get to play in it, but glad they were able to see snow. Sarah said that it was a perfect birthday present, even though her birthday is not until Sunday the 8th. It was nice, cold, but nice.
Hannah is still feeling yucky, not sure what is going on with her right now. Waiting and watching is normal for her. She has had a headache for several days now, and still has a sore throat. We will be seeing if the Pediatrician can work her in again.... so goes her days....
We hope that you all have a blessed weeek, and are resting in God's grace and mercy.

update on Hannah

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all doing well. We are resting at the moment, Hannah has had here infusion, and it always makes her tired, and she has started running fever. We will have to watch it and make sure it doesn't get to high.
Daddys vehicle has died, so we are using one, so we didn't go to Children's, I am going to reschedule her appointment.
We are thankful to God that it all went well today, and Hannah didn't have trouble with the needles and all. She even helped a little. She likes to try to help her infusion therapist, when she isn't upset. She teared up just a little, but then was ok, it hurts more when she is feeling bad. After the infusion was over we managed a small nature/treasure walk on our street. The girls found lots of treasures, including three keys, one broken in half, several rocks and leafs, three penny's, and a lot of trash. We enjoy getting out on nice days, and I think that it helped Hannah feel a bit better.
Well I better go, hannah needs me...

feeling better

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all doing well. We are all feeling much better. Resting has helped. We are getting ready for another Birmingham trip, Sarah has a follow up with the GI (stomach) doctor tomorrow at Children's... Thankfully it is just a day trip so we will be home to sleep in our own beds... Then Hannah has her infusion on Wed. She has felt better thelast few days, and the weather being nice has helped, and the girls have been able to enjoy the sun and being outside some. They got their new bikes and were able to put them together, and that was fun.
We pray that you all have a good week, blessed with God's love and grace. I leave you with a thought provoking e mail I received recently.... Think about what it says at the end....

Take my Son
A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.
When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son.
About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands. He said, "Sir, you don't know me but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you and your love for art." The young man held out this package. "I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist but I think your son would have wanted you to have this."
The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. "Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift."
The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.
The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection.
On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. "We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?"
There was silence. Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, "We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one."
But the auctioneer persisted. "Will somebody bid for this painti ng. Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?"
Another voice angrily. "We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Gogh's, the Rembrandt's. Get on with the real bids!"
But still the auctioneer continued. "The son! The son! Who'll take the son?"
Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. "I'll give $10 for the painting." Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.
"We have $10, who will bid $20?"
"Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters."
"$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?"
The crowd was becoming angry. They didn't want the picture of the son.
They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.
The auctioneer pounded the gavel. "Going once, twice, sold for $10!"
A man sitting on the second row shouted, "Now let's get on with the collection."
The auctioneer laid down his gavel. "I'm sorry, the auction is over."
What about the paintings?"
"I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.
The man who took the son gets everything!"

God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: "The son, the son, who'll take the son?"
Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.
FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, WHO SO EVER BELIEVETH, SHALL HAVE ETERNAL LIFE...THAT'S LOVE.

Resting in grace

Hi Friends,
Hope that this finds you all well. We are doing ok, everyone has been sick here, so we haven't been on much, resting as much as needed. Mommy is sick as well, so this makes for a long week. Migranes and sinus ickiness is no fun, Hannah has still got an upset tummy, and starting to cough again. We are watching out for the seal or barking cough, it usually indecates broncitus, so we are trying to avoid that. God Has been so good, we have avoided a trip to the hospital, so that is a blessing. We have been inside a lot lately, and so cabin fever sets in, we did run out to walmart last night for a few groceries, but that was about it, then we were able to go to church this morining, I enjoyed the message, it was on
"God's Super Bowls" Revelation, 15 and 16 : 2-17,
"And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God. And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, [and] over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God. And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous [are] thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true [are] thy ways, thou King of saints.
Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for [thou] only [art] holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest. And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened: And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.
And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever. And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled. And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and [upon] them which worshipped his image.
And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead [man]: and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy. And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous [are] thy judgments. And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.
And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory. And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs [come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, [which] go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed [is] he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame. And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon. And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done."

Wow, can you imagine what is in store for those who are left here when jesus comes back.... It really makes me think of unsaved friends and family. I want my life to be one that others can see Jesus through me, I may be the only example of Jesus the ever see. I don't want them to stumble because of me. It makes me want to be positive that everyone I meet is exposed to Gods word, and His plan of salvation. One lost soul for Jesus a month, and be read for the opportunities that God gives me to witness for Him. Will you go with me?
I pray that you each have a blessed week, Keep Jesus first, and serve Him as you go.
Much Love and Prayer's,

Sharing Jesus

Hi Friends,
We hope that you have all had a blessed week. We have been doing good.
I participate in a yahoo group called freecycle, it is nationwide. When people need something, or they are getting ready to clean out their stuff, they post it to give away, it is all free, so as I have been using it, I have received a lot of school stuff, and books, clothes, and even furnature.... Well last night someone posted about wanting a Bible, she had just recently started going to church, and didn't have one. I was able to give her one, for herself, her husband, and her daughter, now everyone in her family has a Bible. I was so excited to be able to help... Well when she came to get the Bibles, she started asking questions, I was able to lead her to the Lord, and tell her of Jesus' Love and mercy and grace. Then I also explained about baptism and how God wants us to follow his example. She was going to go to her church this morning and ask her pastor about getting baptised. I feel blessed to show Jesus to others, she was also going to tell her husband about Jesus. How awesome our God is. He is bigger than anything we face.
I am so blessed to beable to serve such an awesome God. Thank Jesus....
I have seen where God has provided oppertunities to share Jesus with someone, if I fail to take the opportunity, I feel as if I have failed Gods opportunity for the blessing. Do you know when God opens a door for witnessing? I am learning to keep my mind open to his leading. It can be a challenge. but the rewards are awesome.
How do you show Jesus to others? It can be as easy as saying Jesus loves you to someone you meet along the way.
One of my resolutions for the year is to reach and witness to one person a week, and see God work. I have lead one person to the Lord this month, my goal is one a month. If I am witnessing to others, God will help me lead more. My goal for the end of the year is 15 people led to Jesus.
I hope that you each have Jesus in your hearts, and are following him, if you are lead astray, please consider coming back to Him, He is waiting with open arms, just like with the prodical son in Luke 15:11-32. Jesus tells the story of a man who has two sons. The younger demands his share of his inheritance while his father is still living, and goes off to a distant country where he "waste[s] his substance with riotous living", and eventually has to take work as a swineherd (clearly a low point, as swine are unclean in Judaism). There he comes to his senses, and decides to return home and throw himself on his father's mercy, thinking that even if his father does disown him, that being one of his servants is still far better than feeding pigs. But when he returns home, his father greets him with open arms, and hardly gives him a chance to express his repentance; he kills a fatted calf to celebrate his return. The older brother resents the favored treatment of his faithless brother and complains of the lack of reward for his own faithfulness. But the father responds: "Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine. It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found."
What a blessing to know that Jesus is waiting for us to come to Him.
My prayer is that if you don't know Jesus you will find someone who does, and you will ask questions, on how to come to Jesus.
I will be glad to answer anyone who has questions, just email me, or post questions in the comments section, I check it often.
Jesus Love you, if you were the only person on the earth, Jesus would have died on the cross just for you.
Have a blessed week.

Hi Friends,
We hope that you have all had a blessed week. We have had a special but busy week. My best friend has had a beautiful baby girl, Anna Lynn. Born 1/22/09, 6 lbs, 10 ozs. , 19 inches long, beautiful girl. -- We are blessed by this precious baby God sent.
Hannah is excited to have a new baby to help with, and since they live just around the block, it will be fun for the girls to help "watch" baby Anna.
We hope that you all have a blessed week.

Hannah

Hi Friends,
Hope that you are all doing well this week. Keeping busy, Hannahs feeling some better, her legs are still hurting daily, we are just doing what we can for her. We are still looking for a stroller to help her. Unfortunately we havent found a large sized stroller for her. I would rather not put her into a whhelchair, so we continue to search...
On another note, the infusion has helped a bit, Hannah is still very tired, but she has wanted to play some this weekend, so that is a blessing. She seems to be jumping back faster this time from the infusion... which is a blessing.
Sarah is doing well, she has had a stomach virus over the weekend, I think it is about over, and she has kept away from Hannah so she shouldn't get it. time will tell.
We hope that you each have a bleesed week, as our Nation begins a new adventure with a new president, staff, and atmosphere. Please be in Prayer for each of the new staff comes into office. The nation needs our Prayer's,
Have a blessed week, keep Jesus first in all you do.
Much Love and prayer's,

Hannah

Hi Friends,
We hope that each of you are doing good. We are resting as much as we can, trying to feel better. Hannah's infusion is tomorrow, it takes several hours, and she has to be still for the duration of the treatment, thankfully she can get it at home, a home healthcare nurse, Kim, comes to the house every four weeks, and is great with Hannah. Then after the infusion, she usually rest most of the day, and then the day after she usually likes to play, if she is feeling better. We have to keep an eye on fever after transfusions, and so we keep tylenol and motrin on board. Hopefully with the antibiotics she will do good this week. We will have one more treatment in Feb. and go back to the immunologist, to decide if they are helping enough to continue them. We are praying for Hannah to feel better, 5 years is a long time to be sick. Her issues are :
*allergies, she is allergic to a lot, they set off her asthma,
*asthma, she has breathing treatments several times a day, usually two or three, depending on how she feels.
* pulmonary valve stenosis, vaule in her heart, leading to her lungs, is weak
* heart murmur, on the right side, near the weak valve,
* sleep disorder, she has to much brain activity at night to get good rest, making her tired often,
* migranes, several a month at this point, (like mommy)
* immune disorder - at the moment they think it is - hypogammagobulemia
which is a CVID - common varitable immune disorder...
They did recent test on here T- cells and natural killer (NK) cells. Hopefully this will shed more light on what is next for Hannah in ways of treatment options.
We covet your prayers, and know that Jesus hears them, thank you for all the prayers this far. What a blessingto us to know we have so many prayer partners. We thank God daily for each of you.
Hope that you all have a blessed week.
Much love and prayer's,

Hi Friends,
We hope that you are all well. We have had the yuckys here. Mommy has had a migrane for a few days, so we have been hanging around. Luckily the girls are way ahead in their school work so we can take breaks when needed. Which is a blessing. Hannah is feeling a little better today. She is having a time getting rid of the headach and stomach aches. We are keeping her hydrated as much as possible. Wed, she has an infusion so maybe that will help some. We aren't sure how much longer the infusions will be given, possible that Feb will be her last for now. We haven't seen an improvement with her health issues, the drs were hoping for a big difference in her health. We will know more at the end of Feb. when we return to the immunologist at Children's. Hopefully they can tell us more from the last set of testing they did in Dec. and shed some light on what we can do to help Hannah feel better. It is a day by day thing for her. Some days she feels good, other days she feels yuck, tired and feverish. There is no way to tell how she will feel from day to day. We have managed to stay out of the hospital lately, so that is a blessing. We were last in the first part of Aug. with a virus and dehydrated.
We are doing what we can on a daily basis. One day at a time, small steps. We hope that you all have a blessed weekend.
Much love and Prayer's,
Lori and girls

Hannah Update...

Hi Friends,
Hope that everyone is doing well. Hannah is not feeling well this week... headaches and tummy aches as well as not wanting to eat anything. Trying to keep her hydrated. She ia also sleeping a lot. We have been trying to get school in, a little at a time. Hopefully we can ward off anything viral, she is on antiobiotics for three months, but she is still feeling bad. It has been a long week. A new issue Hannah is having is that she is having some issues with wetting herself. Each time she gets nervous or upset she has an accident. Several times she is having problems. I am not sure what to expect, so I am in a watching and waiting mode. Please keep praying, it is very upsetting to Hannah she cryes everytime it happens. She has also been wetting the bed a lot, usually that is a sign that she is getting sick again... waiting is something we are working on, it is so hard. We have given this all to God, and we know Hannah is in the palm of God's hand... waiting is a challenge for us sometimes. I am so glad that we have Jesus to help us through this daily, I don't know how the unsaved do it alone.
We do appreciate all the prayers on our behalf. It is such a blessing to have so many friends to pray with us. We hope that everyone has a blessed week and weekend.
Much Love and prayer's,
Lori and girls

Facing The Giants...

Hi Friends,
Hope that you are all doing well, and that the new year is off to a great start for you! We now have heat, Thank you Jesus that the weather has been so mild this week. We haven't been cold, much. It is so nice to have it working again.
Hannah is doing good, still lots of issues with her legs, they hurt her almost everytime she walks even a little. We did manage to get in a small 15 minute ride today, we took the girls over to the church parking lot, the church is across the street from our house, (not our regular attended church, just a area church) and she rode her bike for a bit, but it wasn't long before they started hurting. I am proud of her for going, even just a short time. I am trying to see how long she can go before she starts to complain. I need to be able to tell the dr. how far she can go before pain sets in. We just keep working, and as always do our best either way.
We saw a movie tonight, it was daddy, Sarah, Hannah and myself, and we spent some quiet time watching "Facing the Giants." It was on tv, and it was so good. Lonnie has not seen all of it yet, so we will be seeing about renting it soon. I love that movie, it makes me cry everytime I see it. Well worth the four times I have seen it. I love it... God is awesome! I love to see His handiwork.... The girls enjoyed it as well. They had not seen it either.
We are starting back school on Monday, my nephew Zachary will be off, so he will se how we do things here on a school day. Hannah has finished her History for the week, but will want to do more I am sure, we have been studying our family history over Christmas break, and she is facinated by it all. We are interested to learn more, I had to explain to her that it takes many months of work, and sometimes you only find a small amout of info out at a time. She is excited to see Moma Jordan (Lonnie's mom) tomorrow for lunch, she has so many questions to ask.... I can hardly wait myself...
Well better be going, it is getting late.... Have a great day tomorrow...
Much Love and prayer's,
Lori and girls

Happy 2009 everyone

Hi Friends,
We hope that this day finds you all well. It is a new year, a new beginning, as well as a new chance to show others Jesus through you.
We have spent lots of family time today, and enjoyed just being together. Cuddled under warm blankets, and being couch potatoes... the heat went out yesterday afternoon, and will not be fixed until tomorrow at the earliest... Hopefully there will be a few places open tomorrow so we can get the new part without calling a afterhours service... Daddy already pulled the part, it is an easy part to replace, it is just finding a new part to replace the broken one. So we will see.
On another note... we pray that you each have had a good year, and that 2009 will be even better as you grow closer to Jesus, and make Him your main focus.
Hannah is feeling good this week so far we have had no fever for four days and no migranes for three. She has been up playing and enjoying her christmas goodies, and birthday gifts. Thank you for all the prayers on her behalf, we appreciate them all.
Have a blessed week,
